Peanut Butter Choc Protein Smoothie Bowl

My latest food obsession is smoothie bowls. We’ve hit the last few weeks of summer and boy has it been hot! Smoothie bowls are not only super refreshing and keep you fuller for longer but they’re also super healthy for you packed full of nutritious ingredients! The best part is you can use literally any fruit to make your bowl. Since I’m a peanut butter – a – holic I opted to make a choc peanut butter version. Here’s the recipe, enjoy!

Serves: 1 personqweqwe

2 Bananas
1/2 cup Almond Milk (or milk of choice)
1 scoop Protein Powder (vanilla, chocolate or peanut butter works best)
1 tbsp Chocolate Peanut Butter PB2
1 tsp cacao powder
Toppings of choice

1. Slice up your banana and add to blender.
2. Add almond milk, protein powder, PB2, cacao and ice.
3. Blend well until smooth. If the mixture is too runny try adding more ice or banana. You can also freeze your mixture and have it at a later time!
4. Layer with toppings of choice. I opted for banana, coconut, cacao nibs, crushed almonds and chia seeds. Pro tip: Add the lighter toppings first and fruit last to stop the fruit sinking.
