Eyebrow and Lash Extension Review

Eyebrow and Lash Extension Review

Like most girls I like to dedicate a day or two a month to pamper myself and keep myself looking on fleek. For me, this includes tanning, laser hair removal, eyebrow waxing, fake nails, hair cut and coloured…the list goes on. What can I say? Being a girl is expensive. Yesterday was my pampering day, so I treated myself to new brows, eyelashes and nails.

Lets start with the brows. When I say my eyebrows were looking tragic I’m talking Brittany Spears in 2007 tragic.  Between traveling to America, Melbourne, Sydney and back into full time work I hadn’t had them touched in almost 2 months. Luckily I have the most amazing brow lady, Veronica from Brow Lust, and she waxed, re-shaped and tinted these bad boys and they’ve never looked better. Brow lust is located along Racecourse Road, New Farm inside One Hair and Beauty.

I had a few hours to kill before my eyelash extension appointment so I decided to get these chipped, uneven and nail bitten fingers fixed and opted for a full gel set from Best Nails in Victoria Point. They take both walk ins and appointments and for a full set of gel nails you’re looking at $50 or $55 for french tip.

Now onto my favourite part of the day, the eyelashes. I haven’t had eyelash extensions in a few years and my last experience wasn’t exactly the best experience…hence why I haven’t had them since. If you follow me on Instagram you’ll know I often wear fake eyelashes but the downside of this is the time it takes to apply them every single morning before work. Not to mention the amount of times I’ve chucked a tantrum because they have refused to stick and ruined my makeup or fallen off at a club. When Janelle from from Revolution Massage and Beauty contacted me to inform me of their new salon I decided to give eyelash extensions one more try. I can’t say enough about how amazing the staff are. The moment I walked in I was greeted by two friendly ladies who got me to fill in the paperwork and went through the type of lashes I was receiving. We decided on the 4D lashes which took approx 2 hours to apply. I love them, they’re long and thick and save me so much time doing my makeup! They should last 2-3 weeks so I’ll do an updated review in a few weeks to see how they go. Amanda was my technician and they are located along Arbour Avenue in Robina.
